WorkVentures Connect
WorkVentures Connect provides ex corporate and government PCs to disadvantaged families, schools and not for profit organisations around Australia.
Who is eligible?
Individuals on a low income (must hold a current Centrelink Health Care Card, Aged Pension Card, Disability Card or some other form of documentation relating to low-income or disadvantage), non-profit organisations, educational institutions, churches, charity and community groups.
What can I receive through the program?
A range of recycled desktop PC’s, Internet enabled and installed with Windows XP Professional, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and anti virus software.
What will it cost me?
Recycled PC’s are available for approximately $250 to $450 plus delivery.
How do I apply?
Computers can be ordered online from the WorkVentures Connect website. For a system to be ordered an individual must provide a copy of their benefits/pension card, and an organization must provide proof that they are an incorporated non profit organisation or unincorporated non profit organisation with a registered constitution and provide a valid ACN/ABN number before a system can be received.
What waiting time should I expect?
WorkVentures Connect will attempt to build and ship the PC as quickly as possible. Plan for a minimum delivery time of two to three weeks.
Is training and support available?
WorkVentures Connect provide 30 minutes free phone support for software and installation problems.
